Diane Hohnbaum

B.A. 1993, The Claire Trevor School of the Arts, UC Irvine

Ms Hohnbaum joined the Dept. of CEE CHRS staff when the research group relocated to the University of California at Irvine. She is a UCI Alumni of The Claire Trevor School of the Arts (B.A. 1993) with a double major in Studio Art and Drama, and a minor in Dance.

She brings extensive work experience in Legal, Business and Academic environments to the group.

Diane is an avid life-long learner. Subsequent to obtaining her B.A. Degree, she completed certificate programs in Digital Media Arts -Computer Graphics and Multimedia Design at Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, CA and the Legal Assistant certificate program at Kensington College, Santa Ana, CA. Most recently, she completed the Research Administration and Management Program (RAMP) under the auspices of the UCI Office of Research Administration (ORA). Currently Diane is enrolled in the LEAP Administrative Management Certificate program offered thru the Executive Vice Chancellor’s Office and UCI Extension.

When not engaged in CHRS activities, Diane serves as a volunteer counselor for the NEW HOPE telephone and online crisis center based in Garden Grove, CA. and assists the Executive Director in developing the Center’s online referral resource webpage.
